The Great Salt Lake!

Two weeks ago Jayden and I drove up to visit Tiffany and Colt and the boys. First we met them at the farm and then we drove up to Logan and went to Gossners and got cheese and then we went to Pepperidge Farm and stocked up on Gold fish crackers. We then got lunch and ate at the park before visiting the Willard Park Zoo. After that we went back to our hotel and swam with the boys and then spent some time at the farm. We spent like an hour watching a hen trying to lay an egg. Apparently she didnt lay it until long after we were gone. Must have been a GIANT egg! We spent the rest of the night watching movies on HBO! On our way home I told Jayden we would stop at the ocean, which is actually the great salt lake. I thought we could spend a few hours playing on the beach. Well the water was like 10 miles from where we parked the car(Not really it just felt like it), the sand was very hot to walk on and it quite possibly could have been sinking sand! The flies were absolutely disgusting and if things werent bad enough after about 5 minutes my legs were on fire from the salty water. I did not enjoy it but Jayden sure did!

Silly boy playing in the water. He wouldnt put his swimsuit on!

Collecting brine shrimp.

The darker spots in the middle that look like wet sand are actually tiny little annoying flies! GROSS!!!

The Living Planet Aquarium

A few weeks ago I took Jayden and my Mom and the boys to the aquarium. Jayden is fascinated by and loves all the creatures of the ocean! It was amazing to see all the beautiful fish! Jaydens favorite things were the Jelly fish. Trevs and Roberts were the Sting Rays. My favorite thing was the Octopus! It was so cool looking(and quite ugly). It was kind of pricey but I would recommend it to everyone!

Our new car!

I bought a car today! I am so excited! I bought a 2008 Pontiac G6. I rented one awhile back and fell in love with it! When I asked Jayden what kind of car he wanted he said, " A silver one. They are fast." Every time we would pass a silver car he would say look theres a fast car. I like silver so I decided thats what color we wanted. Lately he has liked cars with a honey-comb shaped grill(is that makes any sense) but he called it a "Honey whack" I guess meaning Honey wax??? I dont know for sure. This car is awesome. It has more than what I wanted minus the tinted windows but those will have to wait until next month!
