Crappy month!

I can't believe how fast this last month has flown by! On September 30th I had surgery to fix my bladder. I was having some trouble, like most women who have kids. Its kind of hard when you tell your child thats its not ok to pee in his pants when you yourself cant keep full control of your bladder. I decided that enough was enough and a 27 year old shouldnt be having to dea with this problem! Let me just warn anyone who is considering this surgery, it is very, very similar to having a baby minus all the pushing! The recovery is very similar. I think so far that the surgery has been a success. Two weeks after surgery I became very sick and I was sure that all the coughing was going to mess everything up but it didnt(as far as I know)! I am almost certain that I had the swine flu. I lost my health insurance the day after surgery and wasnt able to go to the doctor. I fevered on and off for 5 days, had a cough, a runny nose, body aches, nausea, and a very sore throat. I lost 10 pounds in a week. It was the sickest I have been in a long time! Now 2 weeks later I am feeling much better. My voice is slowly coming back after leaving me for the past week. Because of all of this we havent done hardly anything fun this month. We will have to make up for it next month I guess. I start working full time next week which will bring in some much needed cash and hopefully lots of fun things to do!

Well look at the bright side, you successfully lost 10 pounds in one month. That is fabulous. But the way you did it sounds awful. I'm sorry you were so sick. Hopefully it was the swine flu and you wont get it again. Hopefully! So did the surgery work? Are you completely recovered from that? Glad you are feeling better.
